About

I’m a student journalist who believes local stories are where the real heartbeat of a community lives. Based in Marshall, Missouri, I serve as Managing Editor of The MVC Delta, where I focus on producing reporting that is both informative and engaging. My writing style blends accuracy, curiosity and a little bit of spunk, because I believe news should not only inform but also connect with readers.

My work has been recognized by the Missouri College Media Association, where my article on Mike Machholz earned First Place in Newswriting. That recognition reflects my commitment to meaningful, people-centered reporting and to getting the story right.

Outside of the newsroom, I serve as president of Pi Delta Sigma, where I help create a space for student journalists to grow, collaborate and find their voice. Whether I’m reporting, editing or leading, I am driven by a passion for storytelling and a belief in the importance of strong local journalism.
