I’m a student journalist who believes some of the most important stories are the ones happening right in our own communities. Based in Marshall, Missouri, I have served as Managing Editor of The MVU Delta at Missouri Valley University since September 2024. Over the past two years, I have reported on campus and local news while helping lead our student newsroom and grow as both a reporter and editor.

My passion for local journalism has also taken me beyond campus. During the summer of 2026, I worked as a staff writer and intern for the Marshall Democrat-News, covering everything from local government and community events to breaking news and the people who make Saline County what it is. That experience strengthened my love for community reporting and taught me just how much trust and responsibility comes with telling someone else’s story.

Outside of the newsroom, I serve as president of Pi Delta Sigma, Missouri Valley University’s student journalism society and its first chapter. Whether I’m reporting, editing or working alongside other student journalists, I’m always looking for the story worth telling — and probably carrying an energy drink while I find it.
